Our mission
Consent Center Stage believes that youth education in consent and self-advocacy empowers children and arts educators and prevents the victimization of young performers.

We believe the first step in preventing the victimization of youth in the arts and athletics communities is by providing education to kids, mentors, and educators around consent and bodily autonomy throughout the performance and training process.
Consent Center Stage provides workshops and training for students age 9 to 18 engaged in the performing arts and performance sports as well as arts educators and teaching artists. We offer no-cost training to K12 public schools in order to create opportunities in the community for discussion regarding the protection of youth in performing arts and athletics.
Consent Center Stage also consults with local and regional organizations to help foster safe and consent-positive environments for youth performers.
